I didn’t decorate very much for the holidays after my wife died, but now the lady I’m seeing is really into it, so we did it up pretty big inside and out. She found some laser projection lamps at a hardware store, so we stuck them in the ground and aimed them at the house. The dots move constantly, so I had to compromise on the shutter speed to get a decent shot. The is f4 at 1/66h, about ISO 6400, K-w and D FA 24/70/2.8

What a stately home and so nicely decorated. Do I take it that all the
red and green dots are from those laser lights?

There's a place in the North of France near to where we usually spend
the holidays that is known up and down the département for its lavish
decoration, including a life-sized mechanical bear near the front door
that sways its hips like Elvis and sings Xmas songs. At dusk, the
elderly lady running the show takes almost half an hour to plug
everything in.

Thanks Ralf. Yes, the dots are projected by the lasers. The patterns change and the dots swirl. They play across the ceilings of the interior as well. Good fun.
